What the app does
OakTutor puts the Oak Education teaching team on your phone, from the first profile you read to the lesson you sit in.
Book a 60 minute trial lesson
Choose the teacher you want and request a 60 minute one to one trial at a time that suits you. You confirm the slot in the app, and payment is collected before the lesson starts.
Message your teacher
Once a lesson is booked you can message your teacher directly in the app, to share goals, agree what to prepare, and follow up on homework after the session.
Who the teachers are
Every teacher in OakTutor teaches for Oak Education in Singapore. They are subject specialists in the IB Diploma and AP curricula, working mainly with students in Grade 10 to 12, and each one is interviewed and trained by the Oak academic team before taking students.
Full profiles, including qualifications, teaching experience and classroom video, are published on the Oak Education site.
How it works
Choose a teacher
Open the app, read through the teacher list, and pick the person whose subject and teaching style fit the student.
Book a trial lesson
Request a 60 minute one to one trial at a time that works for you. Payment is collected in the app before the lesson is confirmed.
Start regular lessons
If the trial goes well, carry on with the same teacher. Your upcoming lessons and your messages stay together in the app.
